I am studying the Maher course, and what it said , more for illusion than confort is that the character depending on what you want to emphasize should be at eye level with the vent or just a little lower, if you want to give the impression that the character is bigger or flying then it could be higher remember it depends on what you want to express. But if you are confortable with the character figure higher make it higher but remember the audience is who your trying to impress.

Thanks for the info N. JayAs much as the idea of comfortability is also true, I was pretty sure that somewhere, there is a reason why Pros like Jeff Dunham, John Pizzi and even the Great Edgard Bergen place their figures at lower level.Thanks :)Wanlu http://www.wanlu.net
